Game 21 – Grades

August 26, 2008

Hesmer – 7: He almost got no ranking because he did not have much to do. Stepped up when he needed to though.

Hejduk – 7: Another player that did well when called upon. He did not have to run the sidelines like usual as Gaven really pressed the action.

O’Rourke – 7: Moved the ball around well and was solid on the defensive end. Still prone to the stupid foul as his yellow card will keep him out of the Dallas game.

Marshall – 9: Strong game from Chad. He is a force on offense and he really controls the defense.

Padula – 7: His passing and ball movement is excellent. His marking and tackling is starting to catch up.

Gaven – 9: Best game this year. He put in a great two way game drawing the PK and an assist on a perfect cross. He was a terror on the left wing.

Evans – 8: Each week Evans is showing better off the ball awareness. He had a very good game and has a nose for goal out of the midfield.

Carroll – 8: Another excellent game. He was all over the field. Morales and Beckerman could not do much against him.

Rogers – 7: A quiet night in comparison to the rest of the midfield, but still very dangerous.

Schelotto – 9: Another night, another top performance. A goal and two assists.

Moreno – 7: Got behind the defense several times and forced the RSL defense to play catchup, but the goal drought continues.

Noonan – 6: He runs off the ball so well, but he still is trying to fit in with the team. He will prove valuable down the stretch.

Miglioranzi – 6: Solid play in the midfield in limited minutes.

Garey – NR: Shows his leadership and worked well with Noonan for the last few minutes.

Crew Man of the Match – Schelotto – He keeps raising his performance and driving the team to new heights.
