Spreading Like a Virus

The Crew came late to the viral marketing game. They started the Black and Gold Standard just last year, but they have aggressively pursued a couple of new outlets.

Twitter is a status updating and short blogging tool. It is great at sending out links and little bits of information (140 characters or less). I found it handy to use it rather than a throwing up a couple line post. Well, the Crew started their own feed a couple of weeks ago. It’s not usually earth shattering stuff, but it is just another way to follow my favorite team.

A couple days ago the Crew added a new video channel on Vimeo. It is nice to hear Chad Marshall scored two goals against the Everton reserves, but it’s another to watch them.

This is a nice change from the tight lipped Crew of old.

Note: I would gladly link to the videos on the Crew’s channel, but doesn’t seem to allow it, I couldn’t figure it out the first time.
