Crew Reserves 1 – Louisville 0

March 29, 2009

The Crew Reserves were able to defeat the University of Louisville this morning at Obetz. The Crew played a squad with several guest players. It was also notable that this was Adam Moffat’s first game action. The game, like the weather, was poor. With so many new players, the Crew could not find a rhythm. The goal was scored by one of the guest players, I did not catch a name.

  • Moffat played the first half in central midfield. He looked pretty good for the length of layoff that he has had. He still reads the game well and is not afraid to get stuck in.
  • Andy Iro picked up a knee injury and had to be subbed in the first half, but was walking around on the sidelines without a limp in the second half.
  • Noonan ran on the side and Rogers was going through agility drills with the training staff.

EDIT: Tony Labudovski scored the goal according to the Black and Gold Standard.
